Our strength is woven from our diverse threads of region, gender, and thought. We will actively champion inclusion at every level of governance and society. This means ensuring equitable space and participation for all, breaking down the barriers that have historically marginalized some. We will build a nation where every citizen, from every corner of Zambia, has a genuine stake and an audible voice in our shared future, fostering a united national identity that celebrates our differences as a source of resilience and innovation for a prosperous, first-world Zambia.

Rule of Law

Under our leadership, the law will be both fair and blind, applied with unwavering consistency. Equality and non-discrimination are not just ideals but enforceable standards. This means an act against the laws of the land will attract a similar punishment, regardless of the perpetrator’s wealth, status, or political connections. We will restore faith in our institutions by ensuring justice is predictable and impartial, protecting every citizen’s rights and fostering a stable environment where commerce and community can thrive without fear of preferential treatment or persecution.

Integrity

We commit to the highest standards of integrity, promoting a culture of radical honesty and transparency in all national matters. Our government will operate with an unprecedented level of accountability, making processes and decisions open to public scrutiny. This means a zero-tolerance policy for corruption and a steadfast dedication to using public resources solely for the public good. We will rebuild trust between the people and their government by ensuring that every action and transaction is conducted ethically, setting a new, unshakeable standard for leadership.

Our Vision

OPP envisions achieving the vision via the following four fundamentals critical to the reset and changing the trajectory we have been on.

Advance the best among us (Leadership).

Leading a country is a big task. This must be seen in the type and quality of leaders a political party presents to the people. As you will see, our leaders will be professional, qualified, high caliber individuals with good character, honest and trustworthy. When we don’t know, we shall say that we don’t know and ask for help. But this collection of highly competent and qualified Zambians will put their best foot forward to provide.

Return the constitution to the rightful owners.

Until 1969, our constitution belonged to the Zambians. It was then taken away and given to parliament. It has suffered adulteration since. We pledge to give back the constitution to the rightful owners, the Zambians. If the constitution needs amendments, the Zambians themselves will amend it as provided for in the constitution via a referendum.

Ownership of the economy.

Our economy or means of production must be owned by the Zambians. It will be our target to transition the economy from foreign hands to majority ownership by citizens over an agreed upon time. Only when citizens control the means of production can they be empowered and prosperous.

Dealing with Foreign entities.

Any foreign entity wanting to deal with Zambia, on any matter, will have to understand that Zambia will be the winner in all those conversations and transactions. Their returns is only a by-product of Zambia winning and not vice versa.
